Isabela Ford is a policy professional specializing in international relations, healthcare, and higher education.
As a Policy Associate on the Foreign Affairs team at Continental Strategy, she helps international stakeholders navigate engagement with the U.S. government through monitoring legislative, trade, and regulatory developments and translating them into decision-ready guidance for advocacy and strategy.
Her foundation in higher education policy took shape during a fellowship at Florida International University's D.C. office, where she led federal engagement programs linking the university's Miami roots to Washington's decision-makers. She built on this experience as an intern for the U.S. House of Representatives.
Trilingual in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and currently studying Arabic, Isabela brings a cross-cultural perspective to her work in international affairs, honed through years as a translator and interpreter supporting immigration casework and language exchange programs.
