Nathan previously interned with the House Budget Committee, where he worked closely with staff on energy and national security policy. He later joined the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee as a Staff Assistant, supporting the committee's work on a wide range of energy policy and federal lands issues.

In his free time, Nathan enjoys deep-sea fishing off the coasts of Cape Cod and southern Maine.
